UP FOR AUCTION

1999 Ducati M900S Monster

This is the Monster that won second place at Atlanta round of the Ducati Monster Challenge. (First place went to Mr. Turbo from Texas. Since they are not from the southeast, I can safely say that this Monster is the COOLEST in the southeast.) Pictures from the show can be found at: http://www.ducati.com/od/ducatinorthamerica/galleries/detail.jhtml?galleryId=2741

Monster Tales:

As you can see this is an amazing motorcycle. I have recently taken up a new hobby and as I have several other motorcycles, I have made the hard decision to part with this one. This Monster has never been crashed, dropped or abused in any sort of way.

Absolutley no disapointments!

I also own a 2000 Ducati 996, and 2005 Ducati 999R and a 2005 MV Agusta F4-1000, and I can honestly say that this Monster draws more attention than the other three hands down. While the Monster looks great, one of its best attributes is that the modifications are sublte on the eyes. To the unkowning observer, the bike looks like a semi-stock bike. To the knowing observer the Monster will make you take a second and third look, each time finding more and more bits that have been professionaly installed. If happen to be the lucky winner, know upfront that you will get stopped everywhere and get asked questions about the Monster. I would highly recommend you brush up on your people skills.

The Deal:

Winning bidder must agree to pay $500 deposit within 3 days of winning the auction. This payment can be made via paypal if the winning bidder wishes. Otherwise certified check or money order will be accepted. Remainder must be paid within 14 days. Due to the nature of the sale, certified check will be the only means of payment for the balance.

Bike and title WILL NOT be delivered until all funds clear my bank.

My reserve is reasonably below what the cost of the aftermarket parts total. So in a sense, you would be paying for the trick parts and getting the basic bike for free! A heck of a deal! If you really need to know what the reserve is, email me.

Delivery or Pick-up:

The bike is located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and is available for viewing, just email me and I will be glad to set up a time. Obliviously, the bike can be picked up and shipping charges avoided. If the bike needs to be shipped, all expenses must be covered by the buyer. I am more than happy to work with what ever company the buyer wishes but the buyer must make all the arrangments. (Shop around, there are several good companies. Keep in mind price /delivery times will vary. Pick the one you are most comfortable with.)

Questions:

I am happy to answer all questions reguarding the Monster. Just send me an email. If you would rather talk on the phone that's fine too, send me an email first, I'll send you my number. As for pictures, I am able to send what ever pictures you might want. I picked a few for the listing, but I can take more. There is a few pictures located here:

(Scroll down the site menu on the left till you find the 2005 Monster Challenge links and the IMS Atlanta Gallery links.) As I said before, if you need something specific, just let me know.
